Q's technical background lies in hardware and network solutions. Q, as he is often referred to by his colleagues, enjoys traveling and seeing movies when he is not working. You should try his steak or spaghetti at his annual BBQ.
Vinh Chau
Director of Web Services
Vinh Chau is co-founder and serves as the Director of Web Services for VQC designs. He has over 7 years working with a Fortune 500 company and also for the Pennsylvania Council on Independent Living (PCIL) focusing on web development, Internet marketing and project management.
Vinh was originally responsible for creating the web development department for PCIL and oversaw the development of accessible websites for member organizations of PCIL.
The primary focus of the department was to assist and empower people with disabilities by using technology as a catalyst.
Vinh was in charge of making sure that web technologies were in compliance with federal regulations in accordance with the ADA, working with individuals with disabilities to ensure that web technologies were fully accessible and providing training and speaking engagements on web accessibility.
As a result of this experience, Vinh gained the knowledge and experience to step out on his own and help founded VQC Designs in 2004.
When not working, Vinh enjoys sipping mojitos, backyard BBQs, soccer, snowboarding and when motivated, occasionally running.
Cuong Chau
‘Area 51’ Specialist
After graduating from Elizabethtown College, Cuong decided to take on the world or the world took on him by traveling around the globe.
Thru traveling and working abroad for a number of years, Cuong has seen his fair share of ‘sightings’ and obtained out of this world knowledge , mostly in working with international companies, such as Dicentral (based in Texas), and Leecam International Language School. Sharing and using his experience gained from such encounters, Cuong now serves as VQC’s Director of Government Services.
When he is not being abducted by work, Cuong enjoys outdoor activities, such as rock climbing and backpacking. Occasionally, though, you might see some of his experimental robots chasing after him.
Drew Connelly
Web Developer
Drew Connelly is VQC Designs’ Philadelphia web developer. His specialties include XHTML, CSS, and Flash design.
Originally from the Lancaster PA area, Drew graduated from Duquesne University in 2006 with a degree in Music. After college Drew took advantage of his skills as a bassist to tour with his band for several months.
Although he studied Music at Duquesne, Drew taught himself advanced web design as a hobby in high school and college. He began working as a web developer at VQC in March of 2007.
Drew’s other interests include Halo 3, 90’s music, playing basketball, and Philadelphia sports teams.
Jenn Vodak
Administrative Assistant
Jenn handles billing, is the point of contact for the bulk of our customer service, and plans and coordinates all of VQC’s Mixers. She joined VQC in January 2008 after working as an Administrative Assistant at a local restoration company.
Raised in Johnstown PA, Jenn spent five years living in Saint Simons Island, Georgia and Fernandina Beach, Florida before returning to her roots in PA just recently.
Jenn enjoys spending time with her family (preferably at the beach), shopping and watching the Steelers.
Mike Fister
Account Executive
Originally from the Rochester NY area, Mike Fister first came to Central PA to attend college at Messiah. He received his degree in Elementary Education in 2002.
Immediately after college he taught kindergarten for a time, and then took a position at Enterprise Rent-a-Car in Carlisle. He joined the VQC Designs team in March of 2008.
Mike is an avid reader and sport enthusiast. Some of his favorite authors are John Maxwell, Ken Blanchard, and Zig Zigler, and he enjoys playing volleyball and hiking.
Mike continues his passion for educating children by volunteering once a week with Junior Achievement in Harrisburg.
Paul Mudd
Account Executive
Paul is our Account Executive for the Philadelphia office. He has a passion for sales and is eager to be a catalyst for the Philadelphia office.
Originally from York PA, Paul moved to West Chester to attend college. At West Chester University, he earned his degree in Business Marketing in 2005.
Paul will be getting married in October to his beautiful fiancé Robyn and they plan on moving into the cosmopolitan city that is Philadelphia. Paul has a strong passion for sports, especially football. Paul enjoys spending time with Robyn, their dog Corona, and his family back in York. His favorite music is oldies and you will often times see him 'cuttin up the rug' when he is not at work. His favorite pastime is watching the Washington Redskins.
