There are a few options to try before contacting technical support.
- Please try renaming the autoresponder. Sometimes, the system for one reason or another just does not like an autoresponder name and changing it slightly can fix it.
- Make sure you give it at least 15 minutes. It can take the system up to 15 minutes to update your autoresponder changes, so please don't give up after 30 seconds.
- Make sure you are not redirecting your autoresponder to another autoresponder. This is very dangerous and can be harmful to the server.
Auto-Responders sent from our network will only send to domains that pass a reverse DNS and SPF check. This is to protect the safety and stability of the mail server. If a spammer sends to your e-mail account, and an auto-responder is sent back, that particular spammer will then know that they are sending to a valid address. This in-turn will cause a constant recycle of the autoresponder, and the offending message. So, to prevent this recycle, and to maintain a barrier against spam, only domains that send to you with proper DNS zones (rDNS, SPF, etc.) will receive your Auto-Responder message.
